I just realized that it’s been 6 months since I’ve been constantly traveling the world. It’s only June and I’ve already visited Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, the Amazon Rainforest, Mexico, Colombia, the United States, the Italian Dolomites, and Slovakia. It was quite a ride!
So when Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella invited me to visit their hotel on the sunny Costa del Sol, I thought it was a gift from heaven after six months of being on the road.

The plan was rather simple: sip Prosecco on the beach, enjoy life, and recharge my batteries. Having already had experience with the second Amàre hotel in Ibiza that I visited last year Sexy summer vibes in Ibiza – adult-only Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza, I knew this place would offer everything you would expect from a perfect holiday in the south of Europe.
This trip was also sentimental for me because Spanish Marbella and its surroundings have a special place in my heart. Exactly 15 years ago I came to Spain as a poor student, not knowing the language, looking for a summer job. I had big dreams and a lot of courage, so I stayed for a few months working as a waitress in a restaurant. It was a summer full of life lessons. I met friends, fell in love, and learned a lot about myself.
Who would have thought that after 15 years I would come back for the same views but now as a travel blogger visiting one of the most luxurious hotels in the city? Life is made up of small steps, right?
Great news for 2022 season: if you are planning a holiday in Marbella or Ibiza then with the code ‘ALEXJAS25’ you can book any stay with 25% discount in Amàre Marbella or Amàre Ibiza. You’re welcome :)
Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella – love of life and the sea
The Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella is a unique adults-only hotel on the Costa del Sol, located right next to the promenade and just 5 minutes’ walk from the old town of Marbella.
What distinguishes this place is an amazing focus on details and refinement. Starting from the location, interior design, served food, to the incredibly friendly and attentive service.
Amàre Marbella is definitely more than just a luxury destination, it is above all a magical Mediterranean experience. “Amàre” not only means “to love”, but in the assumptions of the hotel’s creators also symbolizes the concept of love for the sea and beautiful life. And it worked perfectly.

Rooms with a view of endless blue
Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella has rooms specially designed to provide you with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing sun-kissed adult-only holiday. The hotel has 236 rooms, most of which offer a stunning sea view.
I stayed in the wonderful apartment “Oh Là Là The One”. There is no doubt that it is different from all other luxury rooms. It has a front balcony that opens out onto the deep blue Mediterranean Sea, which is truly amazing. I felt like I was floating above the water. And the morning coffee tasted better here.

The interior is spacious, full of sunlight, with glass walls and modern decor, equipped with the latest technologies.
And of course, what is most unique in the Amàre rooms – glass showers overlooking the sea.
When staying in this room, you will also be able to use all the exclusive services intended for The One guests, such as access to the lounge with snacks and drinks from 11 am to 9 pm or daily hydrotherapy at SPA by Germaine de Capuccini.
And of course, I highly recommend ordering breakfast in bed at least once – a bit of luxury on holidays is a must :)

Pool and beach club perfect for a Mediterranean chillout
Did I already mention that the plan was to chill, enjoy life, and sip Prosecco at the beach club? If you need such a break, you can uncheck all these items from your list, because Amàre is made for it!
The swimming pool is surrounded by a tropical garden overlooking the sea (as from almost any part of the hotel). A beach club right on the sandy beach with a live DJ is another level of chill you should expect here.

Long story short – you can spend the whole day here soaking in the Spanish sun, reading a book, and sipping drinks. You don’t even have to move from the sunbed, because thanks to the “Push and go” service, sunbathing and refreshing baths will be your only worries. Amàre will do the rest. Cocktail? Sushi? Pizza in the jacuzzi? Welcome to Amàre Mood.
I almost forgot! You can also get a massage with the sound of the waves in a special spa area on the beach. Paradise!

Belvue Rooftop Bar Marbella – breathtaking views
There is no holiday vibe, without having a drink at the rooftop bar. Who doesn’t love rooftop bars with stunning views? They are a symbol of summer, holidays, and warm evenings. That’s what I love Amàre for because they perfectly understand it, and both in Ibiza and Marbella they created amazing rooftop bars with a 360-degree view of the Mediterranean Sea, the old city of Marbella, and the majestic Sierra Blanca.

It’s the perfect place to have a couple of drinks, a snack and listen to great music while watching the spectacular sunset. As typical for Amàre, everything is immersed in music and the best DJs play live here every day.
We all know very well that there is no holiday without perfect, delicious food. There are two restaurants to choose from in Amàre – they are completely different, but both excellent:

Hayaca Restaurant – the flavors of Latin America in the heart of Marbella
Hayaca is a place for a unique dinner with the sound of the waves, because the restaurant is literally on the beach. It was created by Mauricio Giovanni, a famous Argentinean chef who has been living in Marbella since 2001. His second restaurant – Messina, named after the Sicilian city of his grandparents, has a Michelin star. Mauricio became the third Argentinian to receive this highest award in the world of dining.

Hayaca serves Latin American fusion cuisine, and the dishes are inspired by only what’s best in Cuba, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, and Brazil. This results in original dishes, such as Colombian-style chipá with suero and hogao (cheese bread with traditional sauce), bream with tart banana cream, or fried plantain with shrimp mayonnaise. And for dessert, try canchanchara tapioca and psidium ice cream.
In other words, a real feast for the senses awaits! And in the background, of course, you will hear Latin music, which takes you even further to the hot regions of Latin America.

Mare Nostrum – inspired by the Mediterranean Sea
Our sea. That is the meaning of the name Mare Nostrum, and that is the theme here: The Mediterranean Sea here is also yours. Therefore, in the Mare Nostrum restaurant, everything, not only fresh cuisine but also the interior decor, reminds you of the sea.
There is no better way to start your day than with the buffet breakfast on the Mare Nostrum terrace overlooking the sea. Even in a closed restaurant, you can feel like you are outdoors, as there is nothing in the way of the view of the beach.
The healthiest and most appetizing ingredients of the Mediterranean diet stand out in traditional recipes and innovative creations of the chef.
Thanks to its amazing location, Verité offers a multi-sensory experience in the form of a buffet designed to nourish the body and the senses.
Verité Buffet aims to use healthy, organic, and local ingredients. High-quality products, prepared in a natural way, are not hidden under sauces, fats, or artificial flavors. A wide selection of fresh and healthy vegetables, themed zones, and a barbecue – dinner on the fantastic Verité terrace is a journey to the deepest essence of the Mediterranean Sea.

Germaine de Capuccini – a sensual spa for a holistic renewal of body and sou
Amàre is characterized by a holistic approach to relaxation and attention to the senses in every field. That is why the hotel could not miss a luxurious spa. Germaine de Capuccini is one of the most famous companies in the world specializing in professional skin care. Over 50 years of experience guarantees the prestige of this cosmetic company that focuses its wisdom and innovative products in this hydrotherapy center.
Hotel Amàre confirms that it is more than just a typical SPA hotel. Here you can take advantage not only of extraordinary hydrotherapy but also professional treatments and massages.
The offer is wide, so the question arises – what treatment to choose? Of course, I have not tried all of them, but I honestly can recommend the one I had – “Aromas of Andalusia” is a multi-sensual massage with aromas of Andalusia in the form of hot candle oil filled with the beneficial properties of lavender, olives and citrus fruits. A relaxing aromatherapy massage is the perfect solution if you need relaxation and balance of energy of your body, mind and spirit. In my opinion, it was incredible.
If you’re thinking about something more complex, consider Relax or Supreme treatments, which combine a range of different facial and body treatments over two days that guarantee a holistic renewal.

What else besides total relaxation?
I would not be myself if I had not given you a few more suggestions for a little more active way of spending time on the Costa del Sol. First off, which is absolutely great, the hotel has its own city bikes that can be rented at any time. The long promenade in Marbella is simply amazing for a morning bike ride. I highly recommend going on such a bike ride in the morning at sunrise, before breakfast. Peace and quiet and the sound of the waves along the way are guaranteed.
On the way, it is also worth visiting the old town of Marbella and having a coffee in one of the local cafes.
If you are into more extreme experiences, the concierge can help you rent a boat or jet ski so you can plan a great day at sea.
If you plan to stay on the Costa del Sol longer, be sure to consider a trip to Sevilla, Cordoba, or Granada. This will be a great highlight for your Spanish holiday.

I also have some super news for you! If you are planning a holiday in Marbella or Ibiza in 2022 season then with the code ‘ALEXJAS25’ you can book any stay with 25% discount in Amàre Marbella or Amàre Ibiza.
